HAPPY 62nd BIRTHDAY to my original Guitar Hero!!! Growing up in the late 70's this guy was the reason I first picked up a guitar... and not just any guitar, it had to be a Gibson Les Paul like Ace played because "You wanted the best, you got the best. The hottest band in the world... KISS" made about a million of us wannabe rock stars get into music in the first place. Jan. 13, 1978 I saw him play live at the Huntington Civic Center and that sealed the deal... now its 35+ years later and I'm still playing Les Pauls. Happy Birthday Space Ace!!!
