Recently swapped in some Tung Sol EL84 peer tubes I got last year, in addition to some JJ’s. I never liked the JJ’S too much and well after swapping one of the pre amp tubes and the Tung Sol power tubes, I life the sound. However, it’s shut down twice now. Both times I was not playing anything, and I just heard a slight faint pop and then nothing. Looked on back of amp and left tube light is flashing. Turn off amp. Then turn on and everything is fine! Happens again today though so wondering if I have a bad tube or something else??? Was a brand new tube otherwise, although I’m sure a return is too late now. I could order another one ???

I would get that amp to a tech and have the bias checked. Sounds like you had a tube arc (short).

Sounds like a bad tube. But a trip to a tech might not be bad. JJ tubes are tough as nails and will tolerate things other tubes will not. I am not a fan of their EL84's either.
