I have a question in regards to straps too for all my mlp peeps:

I'm 6'6" and I Can't seem to find an affordable strap that will suit/fit me ok. Everything seems to be really short and some of the larger ones, are very expensive.

My question is: Know of any affordable, good straps for me to buy?

I've taken a liking to these, as I am 6'2", have a gut, and like the guitar low. I untie the front to make it even longer, and the strap is actually longer than I need it to be.

I've gotten 4 of them lately through Amazon, and usually less than $60.00.

AWESOME! Congrats man! I will get another one for my 2016 Les Paul Standard

Thanks, Satch. Really digging this W&W strap! Super comfy, great distressed leather look and feel, and double padded. All for 38 bucks - what more could you want?!.. :thumb:

I'll be getting another one of these soon..

I've got the same light grey snake one. Great strap for the price. I also have a JB black patent one as well.

Burgundy straps are hard to find, to my experience. I stumbled upon one made by Levi at The Guitar Sanctuary in McKinney, TX (a Dallas suburb), and bought it for $47 USD. It has an attractive tooled design on the outside surface, is 2 1/2" wide and is made of tough saddle leather 1/8" thick. You might research this brand on Google and see if they have anything you like. Mine is on a PRS, which is lighter than a LP and has different strap button placement, so I don't need a strap lock. Were I putting it on a heavier LP I would want a wider one and would use strap locks. But the leather on mine is so thick and rigid it took me a long time and much effort to attach it. It won't come off easy.

Good luck in your search.

yeah man they look great...would be even nicer if you could actually BUY them!!

I see that you are a part of that deal, can you figure out how to actually ORDER one?

Some kind of "keep the guitar player occupied until he decides to spend his money somewhere else" promotion?

Havw you seen the "vendor's section" here?

you should join.....not really cool to come here and just troll threads hawking your stuff.

Further to my post - the levy's No 1 stretch strap, XL size could be an option.
I think someone said Buckethead uses them and he is quite tall. I love this strap.

This thread seems to be solved but just to throw out another. I use Franklin Leather straps and I love them. They can be a little long for shorter people but they are super soft and very nice.
