I don't mind paying a little extra as long as I'm happy with the guitar. I will be checking a bunch of places out in my area. Southside has some interesting pieces. I'm looking for vintage actually. Either a junior or special.

^ Looking for a '60 Special DC ? I know of 1 in A+ condition . All Original .

I disagree with the assertion that Southside's prices are high. I bought a '62 ES 125tdc from them last year. The guitar was in very fine condition, supplied in a brand new hardshell, and sings like a bird. The price was quite fair! Friendly service, too, nice people.

I can only go by my own experience from being a regular shopper there a number of years. Not saying that they never have good deals, only that whenever I would go in, I would always say "yikes - that's pricey!!" when something caught my eye. 30th St Guitars seems consistently more reasonable.
