That's my approach when dealing with GC, I don't expect white glove service. Their listings are minimalistic, you can't see anything in their photos and they don't mention defects/damage in most cases. I am willing to roll the dice, because if something is not to my liking - they take their items back no questions asked.Buy from GC a because they have something you want at a good price, and a good return policy. There are no other reasons to buy anything from them.
I haven’t had bad customer service really, just no customer service. I don’t expect any and so far if what I buy isn’t what I want, or if my used purchase isn’t acceptable I just take it back. No questions asked.
If I want customer service I pay more and go to a local shop. Sometimes I do.
I am willing to cut them some slack, however, there has to be minimal acceptable level of service. Sending Gibson guitar without the box does not cut it!
