On the left... ( the Super Gretsch, on the right, also up for grabs) is a March 2006 spruce top Country Club -- one of the rare - "oops" models -- with Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Dynasonics and Chet Bigsby arm.
These are known as "oops" models as about 14 or so of them left the Terada factory by mistake with a natural finish. Spruce top Clubs were usually only to be finished in Cadillac Green -- hence the "oops".
More details on this anomaly are found on this thread at Gretsch Discussion Pages
its gone through some minor evolutions --- a stainless steel Tru Arc; replaced the stock Bisgby bracket with a Chet swivel with a 9 1/2 handle. Treble bleed cap added on the master volume, which works, but also throws the taper off, I think.
Biggest addition is the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Dynasonics. I love them! (and would like to think of a way to keep them -- see below).
Condition wise, its suffered one nick on the top between the neck and pickup switch. This happened while at the shop putting in the Duncans and treble cap -- said the master volume knob dropped from his hand and hot the top. He touched it up and didnt charge me for the work, and I was cool about it, as accidents do happen and he's always been impeccable in his previous work for me.
$2600 plus shipping/insurance, pp, gifted. Higher trade value for the right LP Custom, but needs to speced right (long tenon, no chamber or weight relief, 3 pu, Bigsby)
One option, if it fits your situation: $2200 base price if someone does not want the Duncan Custom shop dynas -- I would love to keep them, however, the stock p.u.s are gone. Its kind of an odd option, I know, but if you have spare dynas of your own or some that youd like to put in this, it can save you some bucks on the outlay, but it would deliver the guitar pickup-less.
I do have the melita, pickguard, and original handle/bracket.
studio roughs (not final mixes) of what it sounds like:
