Direct replacement tuners:

There are locking versions too if you prefer those:

You might find better prices elsewhere but at least you can see what you're looking for.

Beauty guitar!

Check the hardware on the tuners before you swap them out. Loose screws, nuts, etc. They may be fine. Enjoy!

Don't forget the Orvilles By Gibsons, light as a feather and they had some sought after Gibson P90 in them too. Mine is one of my favourite guitars , doesn;t get the amount of play it deserves.

beauty! if i saw an ObG SC Jr. i would have gone for it in a heartbeat. i wonder how the pickups would differ from the hot lick. were those made at Fujigen also? i am so curious what the actual differences would be. at the end of the day each guitar is gonna be different to some degree, but i'd love to try these out side by side to compare.

Mine are Terada made... same thing as Fujigen. I m not sure, but I still haven’t seen Fujigen LP Jrs., people think they are when experts say they aren’t. Plenty of LPS and LPC from Fuji , for instance I have a fender strat done there but teradas had the same QC for OBGs so I am happy with mine... a few différences though, could spend a whole thread on the topic :) oh and my LPS is terada as well...
Oh, yep I forgot the question : the P90s are Gibson ones, so exactly their pickups from 80-90s stocks... as per the other differences, nothing except the metric system and the name on the headstock. Gibson even was impressed by the long tenon technique...
Other great factories are matsumoku and dyna gakki... you know jap craftsmanship is great from wherever they are
Cheers boyz

Yep The Orville by Gibson's with the Gibson pups were made at Terada, never seen a Fujigen ObG , fujigen did make plain Orville juniors but they had the japanese pups and the non 'nitro' finish. Everything I've seen that's come out of Fujigen has been on the mark and has they used CNC machines I'd imagine the Greco's and Orvilles would have been pretty much similar in terms of quality.

Didn’t know that (about simple Orville LPJ, I thought that they were Teradas as well) but yes there are Fujigen LPC & LPSs, the ones without G serials + the RI ones (reissue also without G serials), they’re the same specs (as to Gibson specs) but with a few differences from Terada (routings, control cavity etc...). Thanks for the info + confirming, cheers !
