goof rings

I think it would work.Here's a pic of the routes on my 71 Deluxe.You can see the origanel routes are P90 size.The extra routing for humbuckers makes them slightly wider.The mini humbuckers with their rings are the same size as a P90,so the outer goof hiders should fit a P90 and the ring width should hopefully cover the humbucker routing width.

Maybe - but I remember comparing the goof rings to the size of a 'bucker ring, and IIRC, the goof ring is still narrower. Still, it's worth a try if you can find a pair of goof rings cheap enough...

First step.I bought a SD vintage P90,have another on order. You can see the routing that needs hiding with a Goof hider. When the other pup comes I'll make the rings.

What I like about this is that you -can- put an HB in it without ruining the guitar.
