For Jimmi more of Goldie 's sister 9-0627 THE GRUHN --one of the deepest curled bursts in the world IMO.M.B.

Al R with Ace Freeley when AL owned the guitar 9-0627 Ace has 9-1878--on right

A look at 9-1878-Another great burst with a killer deep top---which after Ace had lines from a razor all over the top from him snorting something off the guitar ---i was told and you can see all the little cuts on the face if you look closely.M.B.

thanks for sharing. I didn't know the original Goldie had double whites under the hood. Seeing these shots with that killer top which reminds me of mine on a small level, just confirms I made the right choice to NOT trade in my Goldie in 2012 on my pearly deal.

Is Goldie currently "in custody" or is ownership still in limbo?

I probably know the answer to this already but there are just so many to keep track of... :naughty:

thanks Mike. Reminded me again why Goldie is my all time favorite Burst. I like the Gruhn much too, but Goldie even a tad more

Another shot of 9-0629-GOLDIE with Whites shown.M.B.

Amazing, thanks Mike. Is it just the light, it looks in that pic like the two pole piece coils were put in the neck pup and the two screw coils were put together in the bridge?

I had the opportunity to play the real Goldie about 7 years ago.
