Well I'm going to go see him next Wednesday, I've got third row seats and it's at the theater that is all a big circle and the stage revolves. I saw Skynyrd there last year, they were amazing. So how is Uncle Ted live? And does he do anything I should know before going to the concert? My friend just bought a cross bow and we can't get it to shoot so we were thinking maybe to take it to the concert and have him take a look :laugh2:

Hopefully I have a good time!

Wacked out wild man, never been the same without Derek St. Holmes fronting for him, but a good rocking concert I am sure. .

I saw him with Deep Purple and Lynard Skynard Lynyrd Skynyrd in 2001.

He put on a great show... I think he shot something with a flaming arrow.

A friend of mine named Greg Smith plays bass for him when he's not playing with Over The Rainbow. When Greg's got OTR gigs, I think Marco Mendoza fills in.

Met him backstage on when Damn Yankees was touring. A scary, imposing S.O.B. in person. :) Awesome show, though. Yes, he fires flaming arrows around the stage, and he probably will get political for a bit, but no one can claim he doesn't give everything he's got at every show.

Love me some Ted Nugent! Someone who has talent and isn't afraid to be un-PC.

I saw terrible Ted in the mid 70s to mid 80s about 7, or 8 times, as he toured evrey damn year back then

thing is we were usually soooooooo tanked on one thing or another that the concert was a side show :laugh2: ..........

he was pretty good then but now he's pretty much into hunting baited & fixed hunts, and spewing BS on conservative talk shows

maybe his dentures will fall out while he butchering a solo & that will be the highlight of the show I would imagine :applause: ..............

I recommend NOT wearing your "Obama, Yes We Can" t-shirt.

I saw Uncle Ted the last time he came to town and he has been recently been playing with Barry Sparks on bass and Mick Brown on drums who he dubs as the Funk Brothers. As usual he gets the the bass player to sing "Hey Baby". The Nuge never disappoints in the live show. As much as he praised us Canadians for the great hunting and living in "God's Country" as he liked to put it, he was a bit to political for a rock and roll show. But that's Ted and I wouldn't change a thing about him. Have a great time at the show.
