Go to Electric Guitar

Although I have a few very nice guitars, I find that my go to guitar is my Highway One Telecaster. Don't get me wrong, I love my Les Paul! I've had it longer than my Telecaster. I believe maybe part of my draw to the Tele might be that it took me a while to adjust it just right for myself. It is almost like I had to earn the right to play it! That's my tale! So tell me, what is your go to electric guitar?

Got to be my LP. I rotate from Tele to Strat and Special but my favourite tones come from those humbuckers!

I get 90% of what I need out of my Heritage 535 or my Tele, the rest are condiments. Nothing against condiments, mind you. It's a lousy burger if just meat and bun are involved, right?

It's a toss up between my '91 EBMM which I have owned for many years and my '10 Les Paul R9 which I just got about 6 months ago..

Without fail, I always gig with the Black beauty3. I may bring any one or 2 of the others for backup but, the BB3 rules the roost. :dude:

She's been my go to for 9 years now. I made a few mods and she's perfect. :cool2:

Mexican "50's Esquire" with an SD "Vintage Stack" is the one I play the most lately, with the LP close behind. I can do pretty much anything (that I do) with it. It can do pretty cleans, twangy sounds, overdrive sounds, sounds great with a fuzz. Doing all of that with one pickup and the volume and tone wins it extra points with me. It's sort of funny :p

Highway one is good, but personally I wouldn't spend money for that. I would go for at least American Special series or American Standard because something is missing in Highway one model. The difference between is 200 - 300$
