I've noticed a piece of gear in a few Pink Floyd / Gilmour solo clips, that I can't seem to find any info about.

I've searched on Gilmourish and so on, but can't find anything.

...So what does it do? :hmm:

It kind of reminds me of a oscilloscope or some kind of old Variac.

It normally sits on top of the Alembic pre-amp.

During this fragment it is positioned next to the DR103 HiWatt and on top of the 412 Marshall; in front of the kickdrum.

So he still uses it live, but what is it?

It's a Conn strobo tuner.

What a quick reply.

Seems to be a Conn model.

Thanks, I always wondered what that piece did.

I've never seen one of these before.
