I understood all of that.

But I asked you a question about the people we're discussing.

I took the exact same analogy that you gave me, and added the ending to it, that's here.

I find it interesting that you won't address that.

Regardless.

Let me ask you for the fourth time, what he deserves isn't the answer, but thank you for repeating it to me over and over in case it did become the answer:

Do the people deserve absolution for their actions?

i.e. Is it ok for the teacher in your analogy to ridicule and insult the student in question?

Just a yes or no is all that's required.

What the hell does absolution have to do with this and who are you or I to decide what should and should not be absolved?

Yes it is perfectly OK for the teacher as well as the students to ridicule someone who demonstrates a lack of common courtesy. "Sit down, shut up and open your book."

I'm curious as to how you think.

Do you think people should be responsible for what they say and do or not?

And let's be honest, it wasn't sit down, shut up and read your book.

Based on your statement, I have to assume that you think people do not control their own actions.

I never claimed that I was one to decide on absolution. I simply asked you a question that you have ducked and dodged over and over.

If a teacher said to a student:

NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN!

Do you think they bear any responsibility for their own actions?

See, I think we control ourselves. Which means I think we bear responsibility for what we way.

When I see a thread I don't like, I don't open to insult the OP.

That's my choice.

On the contrary I think people are 100% responsible for their actions. For instance, the OP knew precisely what he was doing by opening this thread. He admitted that in the very first sentence. He opened himself up for ridicule and and he got it in spades. That was his choice. He was lucky to get any legitimate answers at all.

"Hey doc...it hurts when I jam my finger in my eye!"

"So stop jamming your finger in your eye dummy!"

They would have 50/50 chance. Nothing but fair... But, because they never want to lose they give you like 10/1 chances.

If you can really pick out which guitar is recorded then you shouldn't be talking about fair/not fair. You should be able to pick it out even if we give you a 100 of recordings. That's not how casinos work, that's how science works to exclude the possibility of the results occuring by chance.

The amps, effects, eq, recording technique are where you get the sounds. Especially amps. It's hard to listen to a recording and tell what guitar it is, unless it is really straty, and even then sometimes it's an LP. Give most players a shot with same exact setup, 50 LPs and 50 strats and I bet most would get above 90% right. I don't have much experience with Epi's, but in one of these threads a week or two ago comparing epi vs lp, most member did pretty good. And that's with a foreign setup and maybe not too transparent amp. In person, yeah, too easy.

I have a vagina.

I HAD ONE OF THOSE ONCE! I couldn't keep up with the scheduled maintenence though, too much wear and tear. It sometimes wouldn't start when I needed it to. Just ended up costing me too much in the long run. Ownership is not for everyone, but it's good to know someone who has one that you can borrow from time to time, or you can always rent one.

It all depends whether its a real noob, or Chromatic again.
The pattern follows the latter.

Yup, every sentence,... is (space)(dot)(space) new sentence.

the OP is mostly likely username: Chromatic, who's signed up here at least 10 times under various names, always causes problems, and sh*ts all over anyone who actually tries to help him.

The only ex-forum member where I wish someone would just break his fingers and he'd stop coming here.

can your ass taste the difference between seeded or seedless ? j/k i had the urge :thumb:

Snoop Dog changed his name to Snoop Lion. He is now Bob Marley re-incarnated.

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music-arts/snoop-dogg-evolves-snoop-lion-claims-bob-marley-reincarnated-video-article-1.1126235

Video really is crap, but the first 5 seconds are funny. Dude also has watched the same soap operas daily for the past 15 years.
