No really, that faded has ended a very long search for the right Gibson for me. I am pleased. I was just surprised at the comment re: the USA quality because I didn't find it to be poor on mine. Doesn't mean it isn't...just surprised me.

Gibson USA (these days) it's the luck of the draw. CS is supposed to be "better", but not always the case. RI's, depends on the RI... can be perfect and flawless (looking) with just tinted binding, perhaps - or "aged" and looks like Sh***T on purpose. IMO
