They didn't sell well when it was introduced in the '70s, so I'm wondering why they would re-release it?

I see it doesn't come with the Moog electronics, either. Of course, that could be a good thing!

Not in my taste either but I'm more a passive, under wound electronics kinda guy.

The Custom theme continues with a multi-ply bound headstock with pearloid Gibson logo and “flying f-hole” inlay plus gold plated hardware, including pickup covers, locking Grover™ tuners, Tune-o-matic bridge, and TP6 stopbar with fine-tuning.
More like Flying F, fugly

I'm a big fan of the RD body style. Personally, I'd rather have something with Passive Electronics.

I'm wondering about the chrome tuners and the gold everything else, though. So much for attention to detail.

From the Specs:

"Tuners
Model Locking Grover™ Keystone
Tuning Ratio 18:01
Plating Gold"

In the pics, they sure as shiz don't look gold to me either, but... :dunno:

I agree. If I got one I would change the electronics to passive.
