Up for sale is my RARE 2006 Gibson Les Paul Studio Baritone in Frost Blue w/ Original Hard Shell Case & ReWind Custom Wiring Harness w/ Real Sprague Bumblebees & 500k Pots

Asking $3999 shipped. Payment via PayPal.

This is a very rare and sought after guitar. It is in EXCELLENT (borderline MINT) condition and perfect working order. I just had the guitar checked out by my local guitar tech and he said it was in incredible condition. It looks like it came straight out of 2006. I can't imagine this guitar will last long as they rarely appear and the last one to appear sold in a few days in this price range.

It comes with the original stock pickups with platinum covers and ALL the original platinum hardware. This guitar has a solid mahogany body and maple top. The fretboard is a beautiful dark ebony board and the neck is straight and solid. This guitar was professionally set up at Woodsongs Lutherie in Boulder, CO with a new bone nut and is in Drop A# tuning with Stringjoy strings 11.5 to 58. Frets have been crowned and polished as well and the action is set as low as it can go without buzzing. It includes the original Gibson hard shell case.

It also comes with professionally upgraded 50's wiring and a ReWind Custom Wiring Harness with real Sprague Bumblebee capacitors and 500k Pots! This is a $400 upgrade and makes this guitar have even more clarity, punch, definition, and harmonic richness. Here are the specs on the Rewind Custom Vintage wiring harness:

  • Real Sprague 50's Vintage Bumblebee .022 Capacitors
  • CTS 500k+ Pots (all read well above 500k)
  • Custom Vintage Replica Taper
  • +/- 7% tolerance
  • Dark phenolic color wafer for vintage look
  • Dished back dual supported shaft
  • Solid brass shaft and bushing with dual retention
  • C-Clip reinforced shaft
  • Lowest torque offered by CTS
  • Beveled edge split shaft for easy knob installation and alignment
  • Fine spline split shaft fits modern and vintage Gibson knobs

More info on the ReWind Harness:

This guitar plays incredibly smooth and sounds bone crushingly good. This is a very rare instrument to find in this amazing condition. It has not seen much use and has been well cared for. I'll be honest, I don't want to sell this guitar so I am very reluctantly putting this listing up. If I don't get what I want for it, I will probably just keep it. I will be very sad to see this one go as they are impossible to find...

If you’re seriously interested, make me an offer.

Please let me know if you have any questions. No trade offers please.
Comes from a smoke free home.

Going purely by looks this thing is the coolest LP I’ve ever seen. Not sure if you custom ordered it and put that look together yourself but well done. :applause:

I played one of those exact guitars when they came out while on a trip to Nashville - stock on the hangar same color, pickguard combo, etc. Nice sounding guitar. There's info on this particular run out there. GLWS.

Well, shoot, I should have built that harness with these blue Arizona PIO caps, considering the aesthetics!
