So what's up with this model? Not on the Gibson site. Not offered in the US?

You gotta love the Gibson naming system. It's got 57's but it's chambered, so it can't be a Trad... it doesn't have push-pulls, it's plaintop and it's missing some other extras, so it can't be a Standard... it has binding, so forget about Studio or Tribute...

... so they called it a Classic. You may ask what happened to the boost. Exactly, that's what the Classic is all about.

Seems that sometimes they have a theme or idea in mind, then equip a model accordingly. Other times they throw a bunch of features together (apparently randomly) and *then* have to come up with a name. The latter seems to be the case here.

As far as features being relevant to the intended model, I don't understand how something like a G-Force can be on a Traditional. What is traditional about a robot?

I looked at these. They're 2015s and every one of the bursts is a VERY plain, plain top. The rim burst kinda killed it for me.
