It's real...but, it's definitely NOT a "'77".

Ask him for the serial number, that should pretty much clear it up.

Check the SN for the date. It looks okay to me, but there are way,ore qualified people than me to spot a fake.

I'm inclined to believe it's fake.

He told me now, that the lutier said to him its one 1997, its was he's father guitar, I believe he don't know much about gibsons, so you guys can say, its a original gibson? I saw the headstock in the pictures, don't look big for you?

It's a Gibson USA-made AF sig. They were made in the late '90s-mid '00s.

I think the owner may be confused? As the template for them, was Ace's Budokan Sunburst Custom

I could agree with a signature guitar being made in the 90's, but not from the 70's.

I'd want to see better pics. It's hard to see the bridge-posts and binding; and the knob-alignment can't be sussed out from that angle.

The seller obviosly don't know sh!t about the guitar. Probably stolen.. It looks real to me in those pics. How much is he asking for it?

There were no Gibson Ace Sig models in the 70's.

Yes I was pretty sure the Ace sig didn't come out until Kiss's reunion in the 90's when interest was revivied.
Some were custom shop models then went on to Gibson USA. I wonder which that one is?

I thought they always had white tuners...
