Has anyone successfully removed the 'HP-4 High Performance Circuit Sticker' with the push-pull pot and DIP info from the cavity cover? I prefer a 'natural' look. Afraid of winding up with an unpeeled adhesive back fragment.
It's a Gibson Traditional Pro-V.

Do you mean this?

Blow dryer and peel I'd think. Obviously take it off the guitar first though.

^ Naphtha to remove the glue residue and polish with microfiber and ScratchX to finish it up.

if you're that worried, buy a new one.

goof off if you're not and for some reason it doesn't peel easy.

Twenty five years from now people will be paying seventy bucks for an "Authentic replacement HP-4 High Performance Circuit Sticker" backplate cover.

Not sure what that translates to in today's money, but you get the idea.

its gonna be a collectible someday but a little peeling and a rub with 70% alcohol should remove the sticker.take the cover off the guitar first.
