Beautiful 2007 Gibson custom shop Les Paul Custom in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. Handwound PAF pickups by Mark Robertson of Robertson Pickups, upgraded wiring harness with all braided, shielded wiring and cloth covered wire. Besides swapping out the wiring, I've also installed all new matched CTS 500k potentiometers and Switchcraft 3-way switch, as well as Hovland PIO (paper-in-oil) capacitors. This guitar is fully modded and ready to ROCK. You aren't going to have to spend another penny on it - Just plug in and GO!
This guitar is in PERFECT condition - not a scratch or ding on it - It has spent it's entire life in its case, simply because I didn't want to let it get harmed! I have played it maybe a total of 4 or 5 hours, always taking the utmost care not to put a single pick scratch on it. I really bought it as an investment, but now I think I'd better let it go, because times are tight financially.
You simply will not believe the tone and sustain this baby is capable of. You can grab a note, hold it, and it will ring out indefinitely. Only a real Les Paul looks, sounds, feels, and plays as magnificently as this. Like all custom shop Gibsons, it has a thin, expertly applied nitrocellulose finish, and this model has a beautiful, one-piece mahogany back with a gorgeous maple cap, one piece mahogany neck with bound ebony fretboard, and it has 5-ply binding on the top, bottom, and headstock. This is one of the nicest LP Customs I've ever seen, which is why I bought it. I have over $3k invested in it, but I will be willing to take a bit less, as long as it goes to someone who will play it and cherish it as it deserves - a guitar like this is meant to be played, not just admired.
Of course the custom shop HSC is included, as is all the case candy, hang tags, truss rod wrench, and Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Email me at robhale@kc.rr.com, and make me an offer. Thanks for looking!
