The one that started the whole series.
“Best wood used” !!!
The weight is under 3.6 kg and not chambered.
This is the best Les Paul I ever owned.
This beauty has the sound we all dream about.

The top is quite unique, you can just fall into it when you get to see it face to face! It’s a really old school looked than any 59 reissues you can pay to get.

Light weight, best sound and “real 59 looking”, I think this is the best Les Paul that Gibson made nowadays.

This beauty is completely worth the price I asked.

Come with the COA and all case candy.
The condition is excellent!

Also list on Reverb.https://reverb.com/item/29191467-gibson-custom-shop-collector-s-choice-1-gary-moore-1959-les-paul-standard-reissue

So you felt like you had to be a dickhead and comment on someone's asking price...
No, I'm just wanna confrim, because we normally called the CC#1 VOS is Melvyn Franks Edition, then the Aged version is Gary Moore ( I sold 3 CC#1 Aged Gary Moore here in My Les Paul Forum), since the thread title is "Gibson Collector's Choice #1 Gary Moore 59", but the picture shown VOS.

Here is the CC#1 information on the website
"The Collectors Choice #1 was made with two finish options: the Gary Moore Aged and Signed Edition and the VOS Melvyn Franks Edition. The first 125 made were aged by Tom Murphy and came with a Collector's Choice™ #1 Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by Gary Moore. The subsequent ones were finished using Gibson's VOS process and came with a Collector's Choice #1 Melvyn Franks Certificate of Authenticity."

That COA confirms it all.
:thumb:

I guess the OP thought that the name Gary Moore would trigger more interest than Melvyn Franks...

Beautiful guitar and GLTWS. I do have a question. Did some come with the neck pickup installed the 'normal' way with poles screws on the neck side like yours or did you turn the pickup around??

I replaced it with an Ian Anderson pickup. (With original push/pull out of phase function)
The original pickups are included.

Melvyn Franks? Really? Did Gibson really name a guitar after a used wristwatch salesman from Florida?
