I've read some pure BS on these forums about Gibson Chinese fakes.

One member implied that the Epiphone factory owned by Gibson in China actually made Gibson fakes.

Other members are saying things like they need a Gibson fake to make it in LA.

Makes for a good laugh.

Anyway there has finally been some action taken against Payless by not only Gibson but other companies as well.

I havn't been following much here lately but I thought it would be good to post it in this section seeing that this section has some Gibson fake threads still chugging along with some really stupid stuff in them.

Hmmm....all they did was arrest the retailers....

No mention at all of closing down any factories.....

Yeah Right.

Gibson can work with the Chinese government to stop Payless but can't control it's own factory in China.

I give up and you should too.

Ummm....please reference where I stated that in my last post, please?

BTW...I suppose these guitars are just "making themselves"...(either that, or we should believe some guy is churning out thousands of guitars in his parent's basement out of Hong Kong...)

Oh wait....where is it?

Oh, here it is...

PS: So, I take it since nothing happened to the factory, the Chinese government has no knowledge at all of who made these thousands of guitars, right? They just mysteriously showed up in the hands of these retailers...

One more time....

Peace Out. I've got better things to debate than some fluff PR story....

Oh Sentry,
You know as well as I do that the Chinese fake factory is actually a magical invisible castle that only those who truly believe the fakes are worth talking about can see.
