Gibson BFG ... your thoughts?

Buy Gibson Les Paul BFG Electric Guitar online at Musician's Friend

Just curious what you guys think of this one.

Played a ton of guitar's at the Gibson store in Nashville last Autumn.
Out of all of the Gibby's I liked the BFG, and the reverse V the best.

If I was to buy a new Gibby, I would take a hard look at the BFG. I liked everything about it for some reason.

I've never played one, but the looks alone are enough to cause me to stay away. In my opinion, they are about the ugliest Gibsons out there.

However, if you like how they look, sound and feel, go ahead and buy one.

I'll have to agree with the ugly crowd, but they might be killer guitars! I've never played one.

I've really tried to like them, but I can't get over the looks of them. I can't pay over $50 for a guitar they haven't bothered to sand.

I did really like the BFG Studio they put out last year, wish it wasn't Limited Edition!

I've always wanted to try one out, but have never seen one in the store, love p90s but have trouble with the commitment.

Don't love the looks but don't dislike them either, looks like a player to me though...
Saw one on ebay for $650/bin with case yesterday...made me pause. But I have too many guitars already.
