I actually respect the Yellow Vest and others willing to stand up to the Man! People always joking about what pushovers the French are but you can plainly see that is not true.

Power to the People and screw the man.

s

Parisians have been doing that repeatedly ever since 1789.

Is that a shadow or does she have a hairy armpit?

I don't know but the guy with the sword on the left of the picture needs to keep his mind on the fight and stop staring at her knockers.

I think France could be where CA and a few other pockets are headed...

Mild Socialism.... You promise all kinds of free shit, retire early, massive pensions, months vacation, etc....

Folks jump on it when times are good.... When times go bad, mainly because of having to pay for all that shit, then stuff has to change and costs must be cut...... A bit farking late for "I told you so..."

In CA there are places that folks are killing it on Gummit pensions in the $$$,$$$/year range....in dipshit cities... bankrupt dipshit cities.... They keep borrowing when they are negative to begin with.....

Only a dumbass borrows with negative cash flow.... Just HTF are you gonna pay for it?

Shit sounded good to all the dumbshits totally devoid of logic or basic math skills....

As my late Dad preached to me growing up: "Son, you can dance as long and as hard as you want to...but sooner or later you have to pay the band leader and the longer that takes, the more expensive it is...."

My Dad's many odd analogies have kept me from considering all kinds of stupid shit as I got older... Smart man...

I remember decades back (remember the word DECADES), there was a guy standing in front of his small not new Jim Walter Home saying "I been making $35 an hour or so for years and now I can't make my house payment anymore on strike."

Ponder on the previous paragraph for a bit. I think he actually mounted headlights. Headlights. Farking headlights. A min wage job.... Jim Walter Home.... Why wasn't it paid off...

Had a former student in college, went through, got his degree, got his certs, and was STILL sweeping and emptying trash at the same location where he could switch jobs.... I was dumbfounded. He told me he would have to take a pay cut to change to a skilled job that REQUIRED fed certification. He was actually making more money sweeping floors and dumping trash cans... YOU may pay somebody 50-60K+ and killer benefits to sweep...but I'm not.... I know the bandleader is looking at his watch... Sooner or later it will catch up to you...and when it does... It will be expensive...

When folks promise all kinds of pie in the sky, you need to check your wallet security....sooner or later they are coming for it to pay for all that stupid shit....

Bandleader seems to be calling in the debt in several places over the world.... and folks are pissed...

Bah, pay no attention. The 'hard worker' virtue signalling is rife through this thread.
Interesting that one would put hard worker in quotes when one responded at 9:13 AM on a Friday.
Were you on vacation, sick leave, striking, retired or just fucking off on the job?

Not much to do when I have no students due to late buses and a blizzard. I suppose your work must keep you busy non-stop, mainly because you work so hard.

It happens sometimes.

It does.

My job involves servicing locomotives and consists. When they are there we work quickly and efficiently to get them back out and ready to go. Sometimes there's nothing there.

We keep the place neat and tidy so clean up only takes a few minutes. The rest of the time, we wait.

Or perhaps on a 9-80 or 4-10 schedule?
I've been off for 2 weeks because my wife had a knee replacement, but I'm normally off every other Friday on my 9-80.
