I know a young man who used to do that. He lived and wised up, fortunately.

I knew a similar type of person - he wound up dead. He did not get the message. I miss him too.

I used to pick riders up who'd hit the ground at around 70 MPH and they were a mess. You hit the ground at 180, you're a grease stain.

I don't know what a Suzuki R650 is, maybe an SV650 or a GSX-R600?

Neither one will do 180 though. Not even close.

I'll have to read the article, but how do you get caught when you are going that fast?

And I agree with Def, there are very few bikes capable of doing 180 on a public road. The speedo might say 180, but reality will be different.

Liter-bikes maybe.

The last Suzuki 650 I was aware of was a single lung Savage cruiser.

Hyper sport bikes are Limited by agreement *so they don't get restrictions) to a top speed of 186MPH..

My last CBRXX would do about 165 MAX.. More than I needed..

I touched 165 (indicated) on my R1 and I regularly hit low 150's at the racetrack, but 180?

I'd say 23-year-old Jeffrey B. Engebretson is full of sh!t.

Yep..180..?

But 160 on the street is enough to go to jail..lose your license..and your life..

Shit happens REAL quick at that type speed.

On the track..everyone going the same way as you..closed course without the surprises we find on the street..

Jeffy..you lose..
