Can you describe their sound -- vintage? Hot? Heavy mids, etc?

I can help here. The Aldrich set is HOT but very well balanced! The Aldrich neck pickup is my favorite neck pickup to date....just warm and full. Great pickups! I have them on one of my Les pauls and with using the tone knob you can really make the pickups super flexible!
