Hey everyone,
Today I’ve got a steal of a deal for one of you lucky forum brothers... I’ve been bitten by the 70’s Strat bug and need to raise some funds!
I’m offering up my 2014 Gibson Les Paul Signature in Vintage Sunburst. This guitar is a dream to play! The neck profile feels great and is somewhere in between a 50’s and 60’s profile. There is virtually no wear on these frets and the guitar rings like a bell! Great top too!
This one only has a couple of small dings that I can see, and only a few slight surface scratches. There is a ding on the bottom edge near where the body would rest on your leg. It’s not major but I want to disclose everything. There is also a ding in the top underneath the pickguard where the mounting nut has touched the top. Both dings will be featured in photos.
The bad...
The previous owner decided to change the pickups and plastics... He installed a set of GFS Earl Slick PAF style pickups. They don’t sound half bad, but they’re non original. He also installed what looks like an import replacement pickguard and import replacement pickup rings. When he installed the pickups rings, two screw holes were drilled for the new rings. A set of Gibson rings will completely cover the holes, but I want the buyer to know that they are there. The wiring harness (PCB) is original, but the coil taps are not wired up. That should be an easy fix for someone. The boost switch is fully functional. The case is a non-original replacement.
With all of these factors in mind, I am pricing the guitar pretty low. Someone is going to get an amazing Les Paul at fairly low money. Keep these pickups in, or install your favorite set and still be under the cost of anything else in this league.
The price is $950 FLASH SALE Paypal’d and Shipped in the the CONUS! This is RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP FOR A LES PAUL!!!! GET YOURSELF AN EARLY CHRISTMAS GIFT!
Please message me with any questions or concerns!
Thanks!
