FS: Marshall JCM 900 SL-X 2500 50 watt Head

I've got this for sale locally but will offer it to members here.

I'm selling my Marshall JCM 900 SL-X 2500 50 watt head. It's very clean and works great. These are getting harder and harder to find. Especially the EL34 version. If you're not familiar with the SL-X, it's basically the JCM 800 with an added gain stage. Different wiring than the JCM 900 DR.

Mine is the EL34 based tube version and dates to I believe 1992. It's loaded with relatively new JJ tubes from Eurotubes. The cabinet has been retolexed with official Marshall royal blue. Looks great. Used only at home in non-smoking environment. A couple of the pots are a little scratchy but other than that it's in top working order. Has power scaling to reduce to 50 watts. Includes a footswitch for the solo channel.

I've got it listed locally for $675. I'll do the same here but I'll pay for shipping in continental US. PayPal gift or buyer pays for fees.

He looking for the one with the clipping diodes gain stage? As far as I know this one is the same except the extra gain stage is tube. I've played the Mark 3. It's a cool amp.

As far as I know it's an original EL34. The last owned said nothing was converted. If it ends up being the amp he's looking for I'll be glad to take a gut shot or try and find another info you need.

And I will add that this price is $100 to $300 less then anything out there right now, PLUS shipping included AND EL34's which are preferred in an amp like this..
