Just gorgeous 2007 Gretsch G6128 Duo Jet.
Classic "black top" look with chrome hardware and Filter'Tron humbucking pickups. This particular example is very light and has a nice subtle "V" shape to the neck.
In fantastic condition. A few light scratches - as you would expect with a gloss black top! - but nothing that doesn't polish up and certainly nothing that shows up in photos! One pickup ring has a crack in it but it's hidden near the neck so kinda hard to spot.
Upgraded prior to my ownership with:
- Genuine Gretsch by Bigsby Trem/Vibrato - vintage-wobble-tactic!
- Compton bridge: solid - loads of sustain!
- Treble bleed on Master Volume
Original tailpiece and "space control bridge" included.
Looking for £1400 - firm - or trade for an equivalent value Gibson Les Paul or SG, with a little cash added either way where needed depending on exactly what we're working with.
