For those about to rock, this is for you : 2009 Gibson SG Angus Young Signature, all original, finish Aged Cherry, pickups Gibson Angus Young signature at the bridge and Gibson Classic 57 at the neck, rosewood fingerboard, Angus Young profile neck, Gibson Deluxe tuners.
The Angus Young signature model is an accurate recreation of Angus' favorite guitar, his 1968 SG Standard. The specs on a 68 Standard consist of a light resonant mahogany body with a slim neck that allows fast playing and this signature model is identical to that. This is not only a signature model but a 1968 Gibson SG Standard Reissue. The bridge pickup is amazing, it has a vintage warm tone full of resonance and sustain while the Classic 57 in the neck gives that woody woman tone. The neck profile is very comfortable to play, very easy for chords, the action is low, slinky feel even with 11s right now on it and sounds massive, balls to the walls tone.
The guitar is in excellent condition, there are no dings in the wood and the only scratches that it has are very small micro scratches that can be seen only under light reflection and which can be buffed out easily to make it look mint. The pickguard has the usual pick scratches on it and there is a tiny chip in the metal of the vibrola near the bridge. The frets are in excellent condition with little wear.
The guitar comes with the original Angus Young Gibson hardcase and the papers.
Price 3300$ USD shipped
