I was contacted 12 year ago by a customer who wanted me to assemble a Les Paul (body/neck) that he bought at the Gibson auction when they moved to Nashville. The guitar was a left over Leo reissue that included the neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard and body. The S/N was embossed on the edge of the control cavity just like the production run. I glued on the fingerboard and neck into body using hot hide glue. I also did the finish work (nitro finish), inked the S/N to the back of the headstock as well as the Les Paul Model silkscreen. The guitar weighs 8lbs 15oz. The pickups are David Allen PAF style humbuckers. Comes with older generic black HS case. This is a great playing / sounding guitar. $3,500. / $95 shipping to Lower 48.

Terrific finish-out job on this -- it looks killer! Had to read the serial number just to make sure it wasn't a birthdate guitar as I'm inching my way towards forty...

And, for what it's worth, the110th day of 1983 was 4/20. So probably some extra mojo going on there, lol

Hello!! Great looking guitar!! When you say “project”, what is left to be done, or what do you mean by that? Thanks!!

It's a completed guitar, nothing left to do. I removed the word project form the listing. I meant it came to me in pieces, I assembled the parts to make a complete guitar....ie. a project guitar for lack of better wording.
