Pots are stamped 1377535 w/ 70-nnn. I am not an expert on these but they sure look original and they match. The electronics in this work perfectly!

Greetings all, Well with trepidation I have decided to sell my Norlin Les Paul Deluxe. I'm gassing for a super light R9 and need to raise the cash, and this just isn't getting played.

This LPD seems to have been made in Nashville, and possibly was part of a test run. It's has the fab "2" on the headstock below the SN decal. It has the Nashville style decal with "99" preceding indicating 1975 production year. The rest of the SN is very faded and requires a magnifying glass to see, but it is there.

The finish was originally Cherry Sunburst. It has faded to a nice looking tobacco burst. It has a 3 piece maple top, and a 3 piece maple neck. It has some finish cracks at the seams. You can see it on the headstock pic. It also has a few character dings and dents mostly around the edge of the body. The neck is slick and smooth.

The PUPs are SD Antiquity IIs, and to be honest they sound more like PAF's than mini's. This guitar had P100s when i acquired it which were not to my liking, hence the change to the SD's. If a buyer want the P100s I will include them in the sale. The harness is original as far as I can tell, but I have not date coded anything. Tuners are original. Original Gibson case included.

$1850.00 shipped and insured. Serious offers will be considered. Not looking to trade for anything at this point. PM me your offers. I will add some more pic's soon.

Note: I am not an experienced seller on the internet but do have a basic paypal account. I'm sure if we come to agreement on purchase we can find a safe way to complete the transaction. I will pack it well and ship UPS fully insured.

Thanks for looking.

Nice looking LP Dlx - GLWS
BTW, if you (or the next owner) want to return it to stock, I have a set of like-new PAT # stickered Mini-hums with surrounds that I could let go.

That's a great looking guitar. The '2' looks oversize compared to the tiny serial number font.

Thanks. I'm not looking to put any more $$ in it, but when/if it sells I shall inform the buyer. :thumb:

Yeah and the"2" is the impression. Everything else is on the sticker. This is plus the date code ~Oct75 led some to believe it came from a test run, and possibly sold to an employee. :dunno:

I'm not claiming anything other than Gibson would: "It's consistent with a 1975 Les Paul Deluxe"

P100s look like P-90s, but they have an internal hum canceling coil. :thumb:

A few folks have inquired about the frets. It has been re-fretted at some point in it's life and the new frets were rounded over the binding nicely! I'm not sure of the exact size of the fret wire but in general they are a med-large. and good leveling job...no buzz's . :applause:

I can't believe this guitar hasn't been bought. Don't let the mini HBs scare you, they SING!

Deluxes and Pro Deluxes, the best Les Pauls ... period.
