FS: 1957 Gibson ES 175D. The great ones get played and this is one of them. 58 year old guitar that has the great tone woods from the Gibson Golden years. Beautiful Brazilian fingerboard with some player wear. Nice chunky neck profile, no breaks. Lots of natural finish checking. Original parts are: pickguard, bridge, tail piece, truss rod cover, strap buttons, all woods (body, neck, fingerboard), binding, inlays, nut & case. Non original parts: tuners, OX4 PAF style pickups, rings, switch, switch tip, knobs, pots, input jack & harness. $3,650. shipped to the lower 48. Here's a link to 24 more pics. 1957 ES175 by James Weyandt | Photobucket

I bought my '59 for about that price with NO pickups and non-original tuners, switch tip, & knobs. It is my 3rd and by far the BEST ES-175 ('71 & '95) I've owned or played.

Whoever picks this up I'm sure will be stoked. That old wood speaks differently.

Oh man, where is my checking account when I need it! I have a '57 175D with the original electronics in excellent shape but non factory tuners and pick guard. I'd love to have one I was actually ok with taking out to gigs.
