From which year would you buy a gibson sg standard ?

My 2018 standard is becoming my favorite guitar. I've always been a les paul guy, but it is like I finally found that "one" special guitar for me. Believe it or not I received it sight unseen from my wife and 6 year old for Christmas 2017.
