Hi All,
I'm getting ready to custom order a new R9 and am trying to choose ideal reference pics for color and for top figure. I've found some nice pics on the web, but thought that I would be remiss without consulting the undisputed experts off all things 'Burst -- my MLP brethren!
...Besides, thought this would give us one more excuse (like we need one, right?) to look at pics of beautiful Les Pauls!
I'm looking for pics with color in the range of Honeyburst to Lemon Burst. I don't want to go all the way to Unburst, as I'd still like at least some of the remnants of a slightly darker burst around the edges. And, I've already got an Iced Tea (one of the more recent versions with a bit more red in the brown and the yellow being more golden). Some Lemonbursts seem to have an almost slightly greenish tint (Green Lemonburst?)... I really like these as well.
So, let's see what you got! If it's not yours, it's still fair game (as long as the owner doesn't mind)... I have no problems looking at more pics of Joe Bonamassa's "Skinner Burst" or Bernie Marsden's "The Beast"!
Thanks!
