Well, I didn't see Lynyrd Skynyrd at Knebworth in 1976, but I did see them in St. Louis in late 1976. Pretty amazing show. I was like, "Wow, they have 3 guitarists." And they had built a walkway stage that went out into the audience for Ronnie to walk out onto. And yes they played Freebird. An encore iirc.
