wow,no cure ?

There is no cure for ANY flu. Antibioitics only treat bacteria, not viruses. People who go to the Dr for the flu are wasting their time and money. Drink plenty of fluids, eat, rest and take Vitamin C, LOTS of it. Vitamin C does not help other than the fact that you LOSE so much of it when you have the flu, you need to replenish it at a faster rate than normal. Most OTC medicines are just a security blanket and do not really help, in fact they can actually slow your recovery.

I live in Mexico City and let me tell you it is pretty scary here, yesterday soldiers were handing face masks at every corner, everything was cancelled, concerts, sports, malls were evacuated, libraries, schools and other public spaces are closed till May 6.

Today this city looks like ghost town, the few people on the streets are wearing face masks and everything is closed. So far around 1,400 people have been reported ill, 900 have been cleared as out of danger, the rest are in intensive care and around 90 have died, the new virus needs 3 to 5 days to gestate and if not taken care properly it can kill you in 5 days.

The problem lies in the symptoms, as they can vary from regular cold symptoms to stomach ache and diarrhea, that's why its been hard to figure out all the sick people, recently I saw on the news a 24 year old that died because he had stomach ache, the doctor treated him as that and died 3 days later, turned out to be the swine flu.

I love my country and my City, but for your own safety stay out of here for a while.
