First R9 Purchase...just one question.

Its the individual guitar, not all the spec crap. I played an R9 off the peg in a Gibson dealers store, alongside a Standard prod LP. The R9 sounded average, made some adjustments, little difference, the prod Standard was heavier, thicker finish etc but was far superior tonally the R9 plugged in. I have an R8 2010 that is stock and sounds superb.

Just start playing them at any local music store. I would get a used one to save some money.
