Cool! In 1984 I was living in Oswego NY and was 19. I saw an ad in Syracuse for a gibson firebird and had wanted one bad ever since seeing gatemouth brown with one, one of the guys from an old rock band called Rail and johnny winter. I drove the hour and gave him 100.00 and practically begged him to let me make payments. He wanted 450.00 and agreed. I went back every two weeks with a payment and when I got to 425.00 he gave it to me. Still have the hand written receipt.

The first one is always the coolest I think. Good for you!
