Thanks guys! isn't breadboard and perfboard the same thing? And I'll have to try those mods with the boost, could yield some nice results! By the way what does '10n' cap mean?

10n = 10 nanofarad. :)

Not quite the same. . .

A breadboard is solderless and a perfboard requires soldered connections.

A breadboard is used for experimentation and perfboard allows you to solder together a prototype circuit for use in an enclosure.

In that schematic, the switch is not shown. This link shows how a switch is wired into the circuit board like the one in your schematic.

Board input would be just prior to the .005uF input coupling cap and output would be after the .01uF output coupling cap.

This pedal may not play nice with the rest of the pedals on your board as it it positive ground. I have moved away from designs that use PNP trannys to NPN as they play nice with the rest of my pedals due to the negative ground layout.

I only use batteries for my pedals, will that help it play nicer? I don't really have much of a board, I usually just hook up 2 or 3 pedals that I need, I mostly just have fuzz pedals anyway

On another note, I cannot get my soldering iron to melt anything...The tip is tarnished looking, so i sanded it down all shiny, and as soon as it heated up again it looked tarnished. I must be doing something wrong.

I think I got things figured out, I'm trying to make it point to point and think I figured out how to best do it...I have to get some 1M resistors, apperently they prevent popping when you hit the switch for true bypass, off to radioshack! I'm trying to come up with some cool enclosures too, any ideas?
