Finish ?

Looking to finish a Strat body. What would you recommend to achieve this finish.

Looks like it's a bare wood guitar that was shot with lacquer, not even a sealer coat.

So..

Sand the guitar down to 220 grit, shoot it with lacquer. Then shoot it again. Don't even bother with a sealer coat, if you want that "partially soaked-in, partially not" look.
