I just got done spending some time with my '94 Studio, comparing it with my '17 Standard....the Studio sounds much better, even though I just installed Pearly Gates in place of the BB Pros. I suspect that the PCB board has quite a bit to do with it.

I hate to admit that the Studio sounds better....plugged in.

Nice guitar
I have 3 , a 96 wine red , an 09 black, and the last is a yellowed white 05 with ebony board.
Love them all , great guitars. They deliver everything I need.
I love to look at the fancier models , but have no desire to own one.
Enjoy yours !

I too have a 96 studio in wine red. The only difference is that mine came stock with gold hardware. Love it, love the chunky neck, love the chocolate brown rose wood and love the tone.

Classic wine red. I wonder what the percentage of "firsts", the wine red was?

That's pretty and looks like a blast, HNGD.
My '96 ustabewhite Studio is just shy of ten pounds and beat all to heck; I love it like a brother and my Standard sits.

Congrats @JOESHMOE ... that’s a beauty!! :thumb:

Is there a double cream bobbin under that neck pickup cover? If so that LP would look killer with two double cream pu!

i dont know how many they shipped, but both my 90 & 93 were wine , i left the one with gold hardware alone (oh forgot i stripped the back of the neck to get the sticky glossy shit off) and stripped the second and refinished it....there has to be a ton of them out there still
