I didn't know if I was gonna like it actually since the Traditional is superb, however I like the Tribute as well as my 93 Studio. I love this finish on the Tribute and to be honest at first I was on the fence. A little polishing and buffing and change a few things and she looks great now. My next thing is to install a Faber locking ABR-1 bridge. If all I have heard about them is true its gonna be a really good mod. This thing can't get much better in my opinion. I absolutely love this Tribute and thus the reason I might let the Traditional go. I agree about the reason to keep her and might just do it cause ya never know down the road someday :fingersx:

No, please don't part with your Traditional (or your Classic).. I'll miss them as much as you would. :)

Well I didn't like the absence of binding on the neck with the bottom part of the fret that's in the fretboard being visible, it looked unfinished. Plus the finish overall (it was the worn natural version) just didn't do it for me. It looked ok in the pictures but in person it sort of looked dull and flimsy. I would't have minded if it hadn't been for the price. It should have been cheaper.
But I did like those P-90's, I think they're very interesting pick-ups and i certainly wouldn't mind having a guitar with them some day...maybe something gold...:naughty:
I say keep the Trad! Unless you really have to sell it course, but 2014 was the last year of the real Traditional. And if you ask me, the best one too

No question on the 2014 Traditional. And, I think everyone should experience P-90's at least once. They're cool little pups.

I got the Faber non locking ABRN with brass saddles. Just didn't see the need for a locking version. Also, got iNsert kit for it. Haven't had time to put on but will say it makes the Gibson bridge look like something you'd find on a Chibson! The Faber is a quality made piece and you can tell its made good looks good. Hope to get her installed soon depending upon work. Coldacre suggested this sometime ago and I hope it takes it to another level as he states.
