Any idea what type of fuzz Norman Greenbaum had fitted in his Tele?

I prefer the Diode setting on it. I do have a compressor and a modded SD-1 after it so maybe that's why I like it.

I'm really glad you like it! Love when good gear goes to a good home. The Pulsar is fixed to my board, it's easily one of my favorite pedals. Took some time to get the settings right, it has a very wide range of depth, speed, etc.

Yeah, it's great for what it is, but I'm fine with my BOSS HM-2 for that, IMO it has a better treble response.
Muffs are all over the map. My Basic Audio Foxey Lady has tight bass and cutting treble (if you want it), along with a mids control. Love it. I had a Pharaoh and it was mostly muddy mush in my rig.

I wish Bling was an Elf about right now.
Tweeking away in Santa's work shop, mass producing new Fuzz boxes.
I'm still hoping he gets in gear again and fairly soon because I'm holding out until then.
