Yes, I will miss these daily updates...

With a few tricks of wizardry, Florian has managed to turn the pinkish coloured binding into a yellowed, authentic looking one. Ambered coats have been sprayed on the guitar.
And now, he is carefully sanding it, to get an even, super thin finish.![]()
Work looks amazing as usual, but I cannot figure out how he's already sanding the lacquer the day after spraying.
I've done a couple of refinish job myself and always had to wait at least a couple of weeks before sanding
The master is probably using a secret recipe for his lacquer, and it means you'll probably e able to play this baby a lot sooner than expected!
...hanging out (to dry) in good company...
BTW: I do not see the bigsby holes. Did you change your mind?
Which pickups is she getting loaded with?![]()
Checking looks amazing. Did Florian revel his technique? Is he checking the guitar thermally or using a razorblade tom murphy style?
I got a say, it kinda makes me sad. That top was looking amazing.
That's looking top notch. I'm digging the slightly aged' vibe.
Makes me want to hunt down a used GT.
Congrats!
