Hello All,
I last posted on this site in 2011 and it has takin me that long to get to get around to buying a LP.

I got this guitar at a good price, nearly to good to be true so maybe someone can give me their opinion on whether it's genuine or not.

There is a crack above the pick up(which I don't mind)but there's a crack at the binding which causes concern as I don't want it getting worse(can it be repaired?)

Serial no 92916660

Also he has changed reversed the neck pu.

The binding crack is just from the wood drying out which caused it to shrink and crack the lacquer at a weak spot (the seam between binding and body). You could just leave it alone. It probably will never get worse. Or you, or someone who has done this before, could fill the crack with clear lacquer, sand with wet and dry then buff it out. If that sounds like a scary process, then just leave it be. I have made repairs like that many times but it's still scary. For me, I would think hard before touching it or have a professional do it.

Good advice. I don't think there's anything too much to worry about here.

I would flip that neck pickup around the right way, would take less than 5 minutes when you're changing the strings. Unless you dig it, then leave it.
