Hi friends

Have been so busy the past couple of weeks as I was moving to a new house… a two floor apartment with plenty of space compared to my old apartment… so from day one I picked a room in ground floor and decided to make it my own room (man cave)

I moved my music stuff last weekend and only yesterday had the chance to unpack things.. still needs some organization but that’s how it looks now :applause:

Hey, it's a start.

Now the FIRST thing you get is a puffy recliner chair made out of leather.

The NEXT thing you get is a drink cooler.

Outstanding, Mock. You have walked through the Door of Comfortable Men. Welcome.

Soon, you will be outfitting that cave with your favorite things, one at a time.

Some men have Man Caves full of sawdust and tools.

Other men have Man Caves full of electronics and other things.

What's important is, it's theirs and may no wife, GF, etc come in there and tell them how to run it.

2) Pictures of live shots of you playing live or a guitar star or Guitar Porn

3) Hercules wall Hooks for your Guitars

4) a beer Fridge

5) a junk food cabinet

6) A good thick Rug to stand on and absorb volume

7) a good recliner and wall mounted TV for videos to play along with

8) more Guitars

Thanks friends
I remember how same amp and guitars used to fill the “guitar corner” in my previous house.. now I feel they are so small in the room.. seems like I still have much to do

Big congrats on the man cave. Lots of fellas don't have one. Signs and posters are required I believe.

Here's my funny man cave story...may have shared it, don't recall.

Years ago my now deceased friend and former lieutenant had turned his garage into a man cave. He even had the street department make him a sign declaring it so. He had chairs, two fridges (one gator aid and water, the other full of beer, a TV and his reloading bench. The coolest item was a genuine urinal mounted on the back wall.

I had stopped by to haggle on a four wheeler one hot summer day. Bill was off duty and was pounding Maker's Mark. On one of his return trips upstairs for more whiskey I reckon I put of gallon of piss in that urinal. He came back downstairs, and I commented on the convenience of have a man cave urinal. He smiled and said, "You ain't kidding. Once I get that thing plumbed in I won't have to keep going upstairs."

In addition to the rug, line the walls with egg cartons. Shabby chic works well in a music room.

A small PA system with a 4ch mixer, a computer or i-thing full of backing tracks, and a mic for your amp to run into the afore mentioned PA mixer.

You now have your own personal band.

Close door. Rock out.

Not sure where you are on the whole “hang guitars on a wall vs. stands or cases only” thing. But having your guitars out and visible is more conducive to picking them up anytime and a small room humidifier will keep them happy in the winter.
I love having my guitars on the walls being able to see and appreciate them every time I walk into the room. Although, I’m not sure your landlord would appreciate drilling so many holes in the walls!

Things I’d do:

Get an area rug. Store guitar cases in a closet and hang guitars on the wall or on a multi guitar floor rack. Pictures or posters on the walls. Set up something to play music, like a Bluetooth speaker or computer/laptop etc. with decent speakers.. Get a comfortable chair. And set up the desk as a guitar work space.

Mockbel, I'm gonna mock you a little.
What you have there is stuff dropped on the floor near a corner.
Get at it!
