Fender Japan better than USA?

Nope, its bone stock. Fende MIJ made Hot Rod Reissues that had the rounded neck heel and Fender USA plate. I've got one and it's been my #1 since I bought it. Everything I've read says that the 80's and early 90's MIJ Fenders that were made at Fujigen are every bit as good as, if not better than the MIA stuff outside of the custom shop, and I've got no reason not to believe it, I've got a couple of em and they're perfect.

the early 80's Fenders definitely are.as time went by I think they dropped off a bit though.especially in the 90s.anything with a JV serial number you can be sure it's 100% quality

not just sayin that cause i'm sellin a JV tele either

I've had 60s 70s 80s and 90s us strats, and lots of MIJ strats and the only one I have now is a candy apple red 1981 tokai silver star. I've never had anything that felt or sounded like this thing.
