This was a definite partscaster - squirt Jag body, fender Jag neck, All refinished by my pops. Hard to see but it’s all Pearl fake in each color - I’ll get better pics this week. Really proud of how well he pulled it off!

youre welcome. i'm envious. i love jags, mustangs too.
wish i had a more traditional jag like that one, mine is all humbuckers.
plus i like modified guitars, its always nice to have one thats not the same thing off the shelf that other people can have too.

its great to make an instrument your own unique one!

I have a really bad habit of monkeying with everything on guitars - changing pickups, knobs, bridges etc that don’t necessarily need it, but I’m a tinkerer. My grandma used to tell everyone how as a little kid I’d take the house tv, toasters, microwaves apart and never put it back together just to see how it worked. Menace to electronics I guess lol. Since this one was a squier body I replaced the pickups with fender ones - the Pure Vintage ‘65 ones. Squier prob woulda been fine but meh.
