Fender goes direct, ticks off Mom and Pop

Hope you enjoy the day when there are no longer any Mom and Pop AND chain stores nearby you, or even a half day away. I won't.

I don't enjoy it, but I'm already there. 6 hour dive to check out a decent selection of decent guitars and amps.

that ain't a Tele!

Truth, but I bought one at GC and it was and is very nice.
My other 'Tele' is hardly a telecaster as well, the Fender FMT one.
More like an almost-LP, set neck Tele !! but it sounds and plays great.
